Zaytouna Bay is not just a restaurant –
it’s a story
Zaytouna Bay is not just a restaurant – it is a story. A meeting between the urban rhythm of Malmö and the fragrant traditions and food culture of the Levant. Here flavors, languages and people come together in an atmosphere of warmth, elegance and cultural curiosity.
What Zaytouna Bay in Malmö offers

always with a twist that suits Malmö.
hospitality that turns every visit into a party –
from opening day to weekday evenings.
Design and atmosphere that combines Beirut's marine elegance with Malmö's urban charm – olive green, sand tones, and subtle oriental details.
Origin and historical background
Beirut’s pearl on the Mediterranean
The name Zaytouna means olive – a tree that in both Lebanon and Sweden symbolizes peace, endurance and vitality.
Inspired by Zaytouna Bay in Beirut, but rooted in Malmö’s diversity, Zaytouna Bay is a place where food becomes memory, and memory becomes meeting.
Zaytouna Bay is an elegant promenade and marina in the heart of Beirut, where the pulse of the city merges with the tranquility of the Mediterranean. Inaugurated in 2012 as part of Beirut’s post-civil war reconstruction, it has since become a symbol of the city’s resilience, beauty and cosmopolitan soul.
The location is located in the historic Beirut Central District, where Phoenician traders once docked their ships.
After the war (1975–1990), an ambitious urban renewal project was initiated, led by the development company Solidere, which transformed ruins into luxurious promenades, restaurants and cultural centers.
The place offers luxurious restaurants and cafes serving Lebanese classics of the highest quality.
